Party Food Convenience
It's great going to parties to meet your friends and those of them you haven't seen in a long time. Of course, you get the chance to meet new people and extend your contact base. The thought of nursing a bottle of ice cold beer while conversing about favourite subjects and long ago escapades just brings back a wonderful nostalgia.

With this kind of a party where the emphasis is on interaction between people, the atmosphere should be languid and relaxed. Holding your drink in one hand with the other holding a tidbit to chew on. Plates just seem to break the mood somehow. Without those plates, you wouldn't need the forks. Just some cocktail sticks would do. Disposing of the sticks should be relatively easy especially if your guests are given a small plastic bag to place in their pockets where they can discard the sticks and napkins.

And the food are so small in size that people just nibble on one after the other. Finger foods don't really fill you up. What they do is satisfy a craving. Once your hankering for hotdogs has been sated, you could give a cursory glance over the tray to see what you could nibble on next. Decadence is the right word. If there is anything that a guest will appreciate, it's the way they were made to feel at a party.

If you're thinking of a themed party, go ahead. Themed parties are easy to do as far as the decor is concerned. Since colors and objects are part of the theme, you don't have to think about them too much. It also acts as a catalyst in starting conversations. Even better, look it up in the internet and you might find some really good theme examples.

Whatever it is you use, it all comes down to your guests and the way they feel during and after. The most important of course is drinks and food. If you want a relaxed atmosphere conducive to friendly chit chat, serve finger foods. With all the variety available, you will satisfy all your guests desires. And when they talk to someone else the following day and say, "Hey, that party last night was great!", well, it's really all the satisfaction that a host ever needs.
